"DM falls somewhere between Derivation and Medianoche - an imperial stout that we had the pleasure of brewing with our friends at WeldWerks more than 2 years ago. We brewed this rye imperial stout with a higher hopping rate for the rye and hops to play together and to offer a snappy backbone to the aging and decadent adjuncts we had planned on infusing this massive stout with. After aging for 24 months to 28 months in Weller 12yr and Rittenhouse Rye barrels, we blended to taste and infused the beer 4 times with raw and toasted coconut and then finished it with Mexican vanilla beans."
